The new 40,000 Girard Winery, in the heart of Napa County, will be a stunning addition to this scenic area.
Girard Winery began in 1975 as a dream of a father-son duo nestled at the top of Pritchard Hill with panoramic views of Napa Valley. The two shared a passion for high quality wines, a respect for the Valley’s rich history and a pioneering spirit. Twenty-five years later, another vintner with the same passion for wine-making and roots deep in the Napa Valley is continuing the Girard legacy.
15000 Inc. is proud to have been chosen as the project’s Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA). Our job is to ensure the high standards of the winery are maintained in the construction of this large and technically complex facility.
In addition to the normal building systems, the project includes nitrogen generators, process boilers, compressed air systems, high temperature wash down system, Mitsubishi Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, central lighting control system, glycol chilled water system, humidification systems, CO2 monitoring and a night air cooling system.
15000 Inc’s commissioning services include the HVAC systems and building controls, the indoor lighting controls, the water heating systems, process equipment and controls, windows and doors and the building insulation. These systems will be commissioned in accordance with the California Energy Code and the California Green Building Code.
