The Message of Peace Church is a beautiful testament to mission-style architecture. Visually stunning inside and out, the building represents a bygone day of architectural design. While the architecture may be old-school the church is not. The congregation enjoys creating and recording music and videos. A significant part of the project involved acoustical concerns related to the HVAC system. The worship space required large volumes of air for this high occupancy, high energy, space. At the same time the system had to be quiet and draft-free. The design also included a Recording Studio and Video Production Room. The wood frame construction and large open spaces created many challenges for the HVAC and plumbing system design. The end result, however, was a mechanical system that was neither seen, nor heard.
