The Colliers International Cityview Plaza is one of the largest commercial real estate developments in San Jose. It is located in the heart of downtown San Jose and includes over 1 million square feet of leasable tenant space.
When the outdated boilers at 100 West San Fernando Street were on their last legs, the facility contacted multiple contractors for quotes on the boilers replacement. What they received back was a variety of designs and associated costs.
Uncertain as to how to proceed, Colliers International contacted 15000 Inc. to help solve their dilemma. We developed a decision matrix that helped the facility select the right boilers for their building.
We carefully surveyed the facility, including taking detailed measurements of the access stairway. This stairway was the only way to bring in the new boilers for this 13 story high-rise building. We then developed a complete design packaged for bidding by multiple contractors. In addition we helped the facility receive a significant rebate from PG&E for their new ultra-efficient boilers.
